Team umpiring duties are allocated on the ENA fixtures for each game night during the season. The umpiring duties will be posted on the ENA Facebook Page at least 3 days in advance. Should a team fail to provide an umpire for their allocated duty, the team shall be fined $70 and will lose three season points on the ladder tally. The fine shall be issued to the team captain and must be paid before the team may take the court for their next scheduled game. All Umpires are responsible for the following:  Arrive 10 minutes before the start of a game  Check courts, surrounding area and ensure the game ball is appropriate.  Take a team each and check for jewelry/fingernail length and uniforms are correct.  Check with the game officials they understand their tasks and know how many minutes each period of play/off time is.  Check that they are aware of team colours/names. Check they are aware to press pause on umpires call for time to be held. Check the timer knows to alert the umpire closest when the timer is at 30 seconds to go during a game and 10 seconds to go during off time.  Check the game officials are alert and ready at the start of each playing period.  Ensure scorecard has been fully completed and signed as correct by captains at the completion of the game.  Complete the Fairest and Best votes and fold under.

2 0 2 1   G A S C O Y N E   G A M E S Welcome to the official Exmouth Netball Association (ENA) with the Shire of Exmouth Gascoyne Games webpage! The Gascoyne Games is a regional multi-sport event aimed at building intra-regional spirit and providing sporting opportunities by uniting the Gascoyne Community through a weekend of participation in various sporting competitions. Please click this link for further information from the Shire of Exmouth about the Gascoyne Games Exmouth 2021.   C O M P E T I T I O N   I N F O R M A T I O N This year, The Exmouth Netball Association has decided to make the Gascoyne Games Netball Competition for juniors only. Our junior players are the rising stars of all our communities and we think it is important for the players in these regional / remote towns to make friends, learn new netball skills, learn inter-personal skills, and have the same opportunity as any metro town would.   9 – 12 Years (Mixed Competition) = $200 Per Team (Maximum of 12 players) 13 – 17 Years (Female Competition) = $200 Per Team (Maximum of 12 players) Each town is required to: Supply 1x Umpire Bring their own bibs Bring their own First Aid Kit   If your town is bringing 2x Teams as an example, you will need to supply 1x of each mentioned above for BOTH teams. The ENA has balls for each town to practice with and use during the competitions. Once we have all Expressions of Interest and registrations are received and finalised, we will distribute fixtures and a final schedule to each town representative. Netball Competitions will commence on Saturday, followed by a half day of finals on the Sunday. Individual sports presentations will take place on the Sunday afternoon at their own sporting venue.
